About

We are Chris and Michelle, a regular faith filled family that is blessed with 3 beautiful girls.  Camryn was born in 2002, Casey in 2005 and Carsyn Presley on May 22nd, 2009.  Our vision for our family did not turn out as we hoped.  Carsyn left this earth and left her sisters and parents in complete devastation in September 2009.  She spent her entire life in the hospital on one floor, West 3, the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit at Children’s Hospital in Milwaukee. Our 3 months spent there with our baby has changed us in ways unimagaible. We will forever remember Carsyn’s sweet face and her sisters will always think about how old she would be or what she would like to do with them.

We found out Carsyn had a heart defect at our 20 week ultrasound called Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome.  We researched and gathered all the statistics we could find.  Unfortunatley Carsyn decided to have her own plan and needed a transplant soon after her first surgery.  We waited in great anticipation for the perfect heart.  It arrived on July 27th and our thoughts immediatly were ecstatic for our daughter, but also a great sadness came over us because we knew another family lost their infant daughter and graciously donated her heart.  It was the perfect heart for Carsyn but her kidneys didn’t like the trauma and decided not to recover.  Carsyn died on September 14th, 2009 and our lives will never be the same.
