We started Wings of Angels in Carsyn’s honor to give back. To give back to the doctors and nurses who fought for her life. Congenital Heart Disease affects 1 in 100 children. It is the most common birth defect in children. The time to change this is now. Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin has a floor dedicated to the treatment of children with heart disease. Since the unit is new, there are detailed improvements which fell short of the hospital budget. This endowment fund was started in Carsyn’s honor to raise money that the unit can use where they see fit. We will also be assisting in supporting research projects that will study various aspects of heart disease in children.
